WB6 and Wincustomize Browser

Upon upgrading to WB6, which went smoothly, I was keen to acquire some skins to take advantage of the "new" features. My normal mode is to download via WC Browser, but it didn't want to play ball with "Adamant": all I was left with was a classic effect. Going directly to the Gallery and using the download button works fine with WB picking up the fact that a new skin is available. Do I now have to abandon WC Browser?

XP or Vista?
Have you tries other skins?

XP SP2.

The same thing has happened with Adrenaline, but I have been unsuccessful in getting an image in this posting. The WC way produces a "classic" look without the "min max delete buttons" at the top of the active window.

It is not a big deal as visiting the gallery and using the download button is quite successful in each case. I suspect it is something to do with the fact that up to now I have kept things in D:\Program Files\Stardock\WinCustomize\SkinBrowser\Download and now WB6 wants the files on the C: drive.

FWIW, I've had the same issue with WB6 and SD Central for the last week or so with both my computers. I can access the skin through www.wincustomize.com but not through SDC. I've tried 3 or 4 skins with the same result.

Essentially all I get is Windows Classic.
