WindowBlinds 6 & iconX

A friend of mine called me and asked me if i installed windowblind 6 as yet.

and told me it wasn't to bother because IconX crashes with the new wb6.

Knowning that IconX is my fav stardock app ( yeah for real), he sounded serious , so i told him to uninstall & reinstalled iconX 1.10 .

but saddly wb6 & iconX doesn't like each other.

I refuse to upgrade to ver 6, if i can't use my iconX

I'm running WB6.00.005 & IconX 1.11.008 = no problems yet

Are you by any chance trying to run IconX on Vista? That I can tell you may not work as expected. IconX+WB6 on XP works like a charm here.

iconx doesnt work for me with vista..doesnt matter anyway..its been so long since i had vista and it never worked since the upgrade

johncrow: Awesome! Glad to hear it works   

zone_max: IconX is unfortunately not yet compatible with Vista. The plan was to first work on and release the more popular applications for Vista. Once they're set, I assume the developers will move on to updating some of the other applications.

it looks like we are a little behind with the production of IconX. Should be one of the next apps on the list for an update as far as I can tell.

I have same problem. In control panel press uninstall IconX, and in new window choice repair. And it´s work!
