WB6 - After rebooting losing skin on taskbar only

I installed a clean copy of WB6 - uninstalled previous version just to make sure.  When I apply a skin everything appears as it should; however when I reboot, the system comes back up missing the skin on the taskbar and start menu. (see link) http://www.artisticfusion.com/images/desktop.jpg Also notice that the taskbar and start menu images are missing from the preview window in the WB6 control panel, all other skins (that I haven't applied) still show the taskbar and start menu, skins that I have applied will show up missing.  No amount of rebooting will fix this, re-downloading the skin helps, but certain skins that came with WB6 aren't available for separate download.  Any ideas out there...Thanks!

Hello,
after updating from WB 5.50 to 6.0 lately, I discovered exactly the same issue! In particular, I tried out the Vienna2 skin. I found that by replacing the file 'Vienna2.uis_BLOCK.WB4' in the theme directory with the originally downloaded version of this file, the skinned taskbar was restored. I wonder why this file gets modified after installation of the skin, but is seems that something is going wrong, then?
I hope that there will be a bugfix available soon, otherwise I'd like to go back to version 5.5...

Kind regards

We currently have a possible fix for this undergoing testing.

Out of interest, do you have norton AV installed?

Yes I have Norton AV2007 installed, could this have an issue with it? Here is what is currently running in memory, that runs at every boot

Thanks for the pointer, however by the title i'm not sure anyone would have assumed that their problem was being addressed in that thread, and I don't seriously think you're suggesting that anyone read every single post in every single thread to see if it applies to them, that is up to the thread author to make sure the title is more descriptive, in my opinion.

But again thanks for the link, there is good information in there...

I've been having the same problem with the taskbar not being skinned and dissapering in the config image.I do use Symantic Norton Security Online. Is there a problem with that? I have to open the affected skin in Skin Studio and resave it to fix every skin this happens to. I would appereciate any help.
