WB6 Build 6.00.005 Settings Menu Bug

When you're in this build and under Settings tab at top, the Titlebar Settings choice dropdowns have corrupt white background. (Make sure the WB6 window is close to the top of your screen because if not, the menu dropdowns open upwards and this problem doesn't happen in that direction.)

BTW, this is under Aero, WB6 is not even skinning.

Do the SD guys know about this? I know someone has a way to get Neil to notice and hopefully fix this on the next patch.... in a few days?

Same happens here.

JRSCCivic98, I'm sure Neil or someone in his team will be checking up on this soon enough. It's not a show-stopper bug by any means so it doesn't hurt too much to be patient.

Do you guys know if you're going to fix this on the next update? Also, when will that update be... do you have plans to just wait until you can address some of the issues in 005 before you release the next update?

This was resolved in the beta that went up last week.


I no longer run the betas since I had some issues with them in 5.x.

What is the date of your wbconfig.exe?

Fuzzy, you have the same issue as me because you too are not running the newest Beta. With that said, back to my question.... when will the next "non-beta" release be out? Thanks.

I can change the color of the corrupt area by using the interface color under the About menu in WB configuration.

I don't have the corruption problem but I did notice a difference in the wbhelp.dll file dates. Fuzzy's is 3 years old My Secret's is a month newer than mine even though we both have the same version installed..........

It shows up here too Neil in a few spots with just the drop down menu items. Like you say it is the background painting into it.






I like the back ground and like to change it from time to time.
Blue is my color though - just wanted to show you it shows up in whatever color the back ground is in.

I see this issue on both an XP and Vista machine here each with the 6.00[b].099 Beta.

Thanks Captain Obvious. I have access to SDC as well and can update the version if I wish. The little "b" stands for Beta, so what's your point. I just wish NOT to run the Beta versions.... hell, even the non-beta versions have problems, but I just don't trust the Betas as of late.

Neil implied that wbconfig should be updating... which is wasn't just like mine. BTW, sorry I got snappy, hadn't had my coffee yet. lol
