Small but annoying problem with WB6

the effect i want

and the effect i get

the graphic in the bottom right hand corner of the window is MIA in all of my Windowblinds skins since i upgraded to WB6

and no matter what skin i apply , the color of the window stays white , kinda ruins the effect of having a dark skin and dark backround with this gleeming white window

any ideas...??

Your second secreenshot is too small for me to make out.  What specifically are you looking to do?

ha ha , yeah , i was saying that no matter what skin i apply , that the window stays white , even if the skin itself is supposed to be black or dark , like the INVIpro skins

You can't put an image in all explorer windows , only special folders have those, as far as window color, not sure, make sure your choosing the correct dark window substyle , if it has one, is all I can suggest.

sorry to bump this up again , but for some reason ( i know vStyler will have the answer ) the backround of the explorer windows is ALWAYS WHITE , even when i apply a very dark theme like INVIpro , it wont change to black like it's supposed to

any ideas?

INVIpro has white windows, the "black window" you are seeing in WBconfig is only for the control panel, Explorer windows themeselve's even in the "Black" version are still white..on everyone's PC.

If you want darker windows open up any skin in Skinstudio and adjust the sectin Window > Color in "classic colors" section and save and apply.

If you make those windows dark, you wont be able to read the text becuase that will be dark as well. I suggest leaving it as is or you will be opening a can of worms.

Me too. White is standard.

I agree. Not to mention that many apps might, for example, use the system-defined setting for the background, but then draw their own black text. Black text on a black bg would not be very legible.
