MVC Councilor Quorum Call

It's been quite some time since the MVC has shown any real signs of life.

There has been some activity within the Metaverse League (MVL) and it looks as if this will continue and perhaps even expand some. It would be nice to get some kind of more formal submission and results display for the League in either Macmatt's Mod Metaverse and/or the AltMeta.

There's also perhaps some contribution the MVC can make to the Mod Metaverse as well. Also the fomalization of Tournaments again within the context of the Mod Metaverse and/or the AltMeta is another project that the MVC could become more active in.

Anyway, since it has been quite some time since we've gathered I think it's appropriate to have a Quorum call vote in the voting chambers. I think for this vote we'll suspend any formal requirement to respond within the normal 5 days. We'll probably have to play this by ear a bit but it's been so long since we met that I want to give plenty of time for folks to respond.

I'll generate some hopefully amusing voting options but the real point is for all MVC Councillors to checkin and be counted.

Not being on the MVC, I think that it is a good idea to for all who are directly or nondirectly involved to see what is going on and see the odd post put in these forums. I cant always find it at the Core, and the last time I tried I was not able to get in to see what was going on. Thank you.

There has been very little recent activity, most of us have been involved with the Metaverse League as of late.

Certainly the last the MVC talked about anything we discused the point of trying to hold more discussion here rather than over at the Core. However we do have our voting forum and our private forum that we still have a need to use there.

In any case the MVC forums did get moved around a bit at the Core but still should be accessable to everyone. Specifically these forums are Core Forums > Galciv & Other Games > Galciv II > GCII Metaverse which are readable and writable by all. Under this is the Council Voting forum which is readable by all and writable by MVC Councilors only. Then there is the private Council Chambers that's accessable to MVC councilors only.

Anyway, although there's little there of recent excitement please let me know if these are accessible or not.

Just a little bump to keep this on the recent lists. I do think that with the coming changes from Stardock the MVC will have some work to do, the tournaments come to mind and of course this is on top of the upcoming Mod Metaverse and the ever growing Metaverse League.

Count me in for all future endeavours.
