visual style help

K so I have a xbox 360 theme I wanna change cause its boring now. I wanna just try and change it to the default theme. I go to control panel>Display and go to appearance and press apply then ok. When I hit "ok" it says theme denied. Wtf??? Also why isn't my style xp working? Every time I say apply theme it goes to a please wait screen and then it disappears and nothing happens or I have to go to task manager and end it. Can someone just tell me a new way to change themes easier or something? I download the themes from here if it matters. http://xxxxxxxxxxxx/

Uninstall StyleXP and install Windowblinds.

For support with StyleXP you will need to contact the authors of that app I am afraid.  These forums are for support with Stardock applications rather than general windows support.

I have removed your link to that particular site as I believe it still wraps themes with additional potentially unwanted software.
