I dont want to put the DMP file up but let me know if it would help. Please help! My friend has this running on his computer and I really would love to have this work for me too! The odd thing, if I dont close the error out and right click on the icon in the task tray I can use the program. But after so long or if I try to save/etc the whole program finally closes. So I have got a taste of using it on my system, I just dont why if it would work for part of it (if I ignore the error) why it wont just work. Again any help would be awesome!

Remove the three Docklets (Calendar, Search, and Weather) and see if the crashes stop. If so, add back one at a time.

Docklets have been known to cause problems sometimes.

I've been having that error too....3 times in the past few weeks actually. Up until recently it's ran without a hitch, don't know what went wrong. Save the zip files and send them to support@stardock.com, that's what I did (just awaiting a response).

Sorta funny but I just removed all of the docklets it came with (Search, Weather, Calendar, the other one) and it opened right up. how odd.

put one back, see if it crashes... if not, take it out, put in another... and so on... that way you can isolate which one

I get the same when I try to run Stardock Central. Should I uninstall and re install?

You get an Object Dock error trying to run Stardock Central?

Sorry. I get Stardoc has encountered a problem and must close. I can't open it at all.

try this:

go into the SDC folder and find the 'restore' exe - run it and roll SDC back, then run SDC and let it update

go into the SDC folder and find the 'restore' exe - run it and roll SDC back, then run SDC and let it update

If that doesn't work, uninstall, reboot, then reinstall (always remember the reboot as it will clear locked files).  If all else fails, email support@stardock.com with a screenshot of the error and a link to this thread.
