GalCiv II SuperGold?

I picked up GalCiv I only just recently and have been enjoying it, and intend to get GalCiv II sometime soon. I was considering getting the GalCiv II Gold pack on TG.net, but now there's the new expansion pack coming out. Not sure I'm going to want to invest a full 8 tokens or $70 on Gold plus Arnor though.

Is there going to be a new GalCiv II Super Mega Ultimate Gold coming out in the near future? If that's going to offer a good price break for someone who doesn't have any of the components yet, perhaps I should wait for it before getting anything. Or maybe, on the other hand, I should just take advantage of the cheap price of the core game right now, and enjoy playing that on its own for a while, until the day when the expansions no longer cost three times as much (taken together) as it does. Any advice or tips from the forum?

Eight tokens actually only comes to $56 or thereabouts, not too out of line for a typical PC game these days. Granted you have to buy ten tokens, but you'll still have two for other games.

Anyway, I don't believe a GC2 uberpack has been ruled out, but I'm not aware of any plans for one in the near term.

Thanks for the speedy response...that's a real help.

I'm already a TG.net member (I joined to get StarForce-free Space Rangers I and II, and because I just liked the cut of Brad Wardell's jib) and have some tokens in my account; if there's no imminent plans for an omnibus uberpack, I suppose I can't lose by taking the plunge and getting the core game right now for just two tokens.

Well, I suppose I might very well wind up losing sleep...but other than that, I can't lose.
