Elder Scrolls: Oblivion

MP prolem while playing Oblivion

I just installed the demo version of MP. I love MP so far except for the problem I am having with MP and Oblivion. When I am in game I cannot use hotkeys to switch between computers with MP. If I set MP to switch by moving the mouse to the edge of the screen then I end up switching computers every time I want to spin to the right in the game.

I tried MP in another full screen game (MS Flight Sim X) and it worked fine.

Is there any way to fix this issue? As I said, I really like MP but its usefulness is greatly reduced if I can't use it while playing Oblivion.

I highly suggest using the locking functionality to prevent it randomly changing screens because you want to scroll - I have to do this on games I play as well (even Stardock's own). On the primary, right click the Multiplicity icon, then on the Switching tab, select "Scroll lock toggles between locked and unlocked". Then, you can just turn on Scroll Lock (which serves no other purpose unless you're gaming on an old WYSE dumb terminal) and it wont switch screens.

You'll probably find that it wont acept hotkeys because Oblivion uses DirectInput, which means it intercepts keystrokes at a slightly higher level than Multiplicity does. This is normal, and unless they implement Multiplicity's primary component as a service like the secondary one, probably can't be easily fixed.

Kyanar is correct. However if there is an option to run in Windowed mode this will correct the situation.

To add, Seabass is talking about a windowed mode option in Oblivion, not Multiplicity (which, obviously, doesn't have a Windowed mode).
