God cant exist because.

God states that his creation, the universe is inexplicable and cant be understood

But God gave us thought, Intelligence and reason.

We as intelligent creatures,

given enough time we will inevitably and ultimately know all there is to know about the universe.

It is the true nature of intelligence.

To answer all questions.

But God says we cannot, so why make us intelligent

This fallacy alone proves to me that god cant exist.

PS, I can see the arguments now,

The universe is far too complex for us ever to understand.
If that is so then god is a prankster, playing games, tricking us into believing we are smart enough.

God plays jokes with intelligence and then stops us at the moment of true understanding.

Boy are you overconfident! What makes you think we'll know everything. I mean everything has its limits. Including evolutionary chains, imagination, logic, and human intelligence. Do you have any proposals for solving paradoxs. Dude, for whatever reason who have a developed a disdain borderline hate for god/concept of god. To answer you, I think yes.

I don't know all, but intelligence is unbounded without limits,
I believe intelligence is ultimate
I don't put limits on humanity, we are ultimately mortal.
I think though that any intelligent species, if they manage to exist long enough can ultimately disprove the God fallacy,

Were in the Bible does it say we cant know about the universe. I have read numerous passages were God invites us to explore his creation. Romans Chapter 1 Verse 20 states that we can see his invisible qualities from creation, that requires understanding the complexity and wonders of what he says put forth into this universe. There for your logic is severly flawed. Please examine all points of argument before making such bold statements.

Therefore, a nonexistent God didn't tell you that creation is inexplicable.

Therefore you have no evidence to come to your conclusion; you have proved nothing.

If that is your argument then what to say that this has not already happened and we are the progeny of said spieces. We can go round and round with this logic but the basic concept of a higher being then us is still in evidence in said argument. Case in point look at us developing AI are we not gods to them. Then what is to say there is not a smarter being who has created us and now will allow us to grow and continue the process. The concept of God does not destroy scientific theory or studies many famous scientist, Albert Enstien, have concluded that there is a God and that the idea of there being no God is insanity.

Personally, I have no idea if God exists or not. There's plenty of proof either way. Some days, I wake up and look over my city, and say: "There's gotta be something that ultimately controls all of this, there can't be that we started from a sludge pool" and then I realize we don't know everything yet. We need to know everything about everything before we say that somthing can't happen or can't exist.

I welcome a good debate with reason and thought about whether God exists or not. I have gone on for dozens of pages on a particularly vigorous one in another forum.

This is not one of those.

The basic premise is because you assume we can become infinitely intelligent, something which is scientifically unknown and, at least for now, unknowable, God must not exist.

So you have a single assumption and are not willing to hear anything else.

So why post here at all.

I'm done. I have no further need to post in this thread any further.

the world is the most important planet in the universe because it is the only one with life.

no there might be more life out there.

I get your point. You don't believe in God, but you're just like those folks who knock on my door, early in the morning, bible in hand, trying to convince me their convictions are the correct ones. I don't need you knocking on my door either. It's annoying. I know, I know, I don't have to read the thread, but you've started at least 4 threads all expounding the same rhetoric. Personally, I don't necessarily believe in God either, but I don't go around trying to convince others that my beliefs are correct and theirs are wrong. I'm not sure why you need to justify yourself or have others follow your enlightenment. Maybe you should ask yourself that question.

Nice to see some of us are on the same page. Not only are these more god threads, but nearly all of them have something to do about "GOD NOT EXISTING". Preaching the same rhetoric over and over again is trolling! Some people would have been banned for this kind of trash on other forums.
