Applying Sidebar skins

I have no idea where these files are kept, tried searching for the file names the skin comes with, had no luck. I have looked through the windowblinds control panel and there is not way to add a sidebar skin to it. Any Ideas? Glenn

Sidebar skins go into the WindowBlinds directory just like WindowBlinds skins. Currently, they need to be unzipped there manually. You will need to refresh your WindowBlinds skin list before a newly unzipped sidebar skin will show up in the list.

As far as I know, there is only one sidebar skin available at the moment. It's called Two Sidebar Skin, and it comes installed with the WindowBlinds 6 beta.

I take it that the Two Sidebar Skin only works with Vista?

Yes, it does. Although I cannot seem to get WB to update it's sidebar skin list. There is no option to update list, have restarted it but no joy on getting the other skin listed

Have not gotten the skin to actually appear on the Sidebar shin list yet. Can find no simple way to have it reread the skins that are in the WB directory. Have expanded it into the root of the WB directory and under it's own directory, restarted WB, but still no listing. Anyone have any ideas? Glenn

Glenn: Open up the WindowBlinds Configuration window and go to the WindowBlinds skin list (not the sidebar skin list). Below the skin preview, click the Skin Options link, and select select Rebuilt List from the menu. That should refresh both the WindowBlinds skin list and the Sidebar skin list. 

Philly0381: It only skins the sidebar that is already there in Vista. It can't create one on another OS.

Windowblinds is unable to set the sidebar if Stoyanov's Sidebar Styler is active.

If you are already skinning your sidebar with sidebar styler then it will override WB.

I'm not skinning it with it, I use it to be able to resize the sidebar. Just thought I'd let everyone else know what might be causing WB to apparently fail.
