Just got OD+... one question

Where do we go to test the betas for the next version?

Hey,

Finally took the plunge and bought OD+ . I have a couple of questions though.

1. Where do we go to test out the Betas of upcoming versions?

2. Will you guys have anything resembling "stacks" in Leopard in the upcoming version?

That's all I really want to know for right now. Thanks.

Betas are available on SDC, you need to have show pre-release versions checked in the settings. Since OD isn't part of ODNT, I'm not sure if you have to have an ODNT sub in order to get OD+ betas....

Stacks is crap, but OD+ has flyout menus which are pretty cool.

^ I disagree.

I'm the farthest from an apple fanboy that you can get, but i'll be the first to admit when something's pretty cool.

-I like the grid-view option folders/directories in stacks, as well as the vertical view option (I think its better than the layout in flyout menus)

-Additionally, I like the fact that you can drag & drop folders/directories directly on to the dock

Can anyone from the OD team tell is if any of this functionality is coming soon?

From JMBdev, lead developer of OD on another thread about stacks, posted July 7th

Can't comment at this point whether or not we'll be adding anything specifically like stacks.

I think it's the same as with WB - only ODNT subscriber get betas
