Any Admin-Upload problem

I have been away for some time. I noticed a new upload screen you have added. Well, at least i get to see something different when i get those same upload errors(and some new ones). I have been trying to upload a windowblinds theme for three days at different times. It gets up to the screenshot and it stops. I get "the server method "get upload" failed with the following error: And it never gives me the reason. Then when i re-submit it, it goes right to a black screen: please whait while we proccess your theme without a conframation page or i get the cannot display this page. By any chance did you get my theme.

I'm letting one of our developers know about this problem.  If there is any more error information can you please post it here as that may be helpfull.

HeirOfSlytherin,

Beyond error information, could you also post items that may help us track down this problem.  Items such as OS/Browser, ISP speed (eg. Dial-up, Cable, DSL, etc), size of files being uploaded, file names being uploaded (eg. mypicture.jpg), etc.

Thanks Kitty for the link. I will give it a try. I use eather Mozilla Firefox or IE in Windows XP. I have dial-up. I'm thinking of getting high speed cable. For what i pay on my phone bill, it woulden't be that much more a month. The file size is 1.58 MB. WB file name is Stocker. Preview is named Stocker Screen Shot. Hope this helps.

HOS,

The error you are experiencing has been reproduced by our programmers.  It appears that the error only happens when you (possibly even momentarily) lose your internet connection.  This could happen if you have a high latency even (where your ISP is still connected to you but not responding for a few seconds).

We are going to see if there is a way for us to allow for a timeout, but we don't have a fix today.  We will post back here if we do find a solution.

In the mean time can you use the old link Kitty posted above?  The reason we went to this new method was to fix a limintation surrounding larger files (your file does not qualify as large) so the old link should work for you.

Thanks for your feedback!

Thanks Zargon0225. I used the old link and it worked great. I'm a happy camper now.
