I got impatient

Okay. I got a impatient and just purchased ObjectDock Plus. I wanted to use all the features of ObjectDock and was tired of waiting for the next version that fixes the Vista64 problems.

Question is, will I have to rebuy the software when the next version comes out? I guess I should've asked this before...

After reading the Vista64 thread a few lines down maybe I should've said "IF the next version comes out" instead of "when".

I know those that just bought WB 5 will get an upgrade to 6

I don't know about ODock - if you don't get an upgrade, then I believe you at least get a discount

I would be very surprised and extremely annoyed if there is any charge for a full Vista x64 supported version of OD. As far as I can remember this functionality was promised with this version and it was not until I actually installed it that I found out that these functions were not supported but were to follow.

I think there are a few of us becoming quite sceptical if this functionality will ever be supported under Vista x64, lets hope we or at least I am proved wrong.

According to this post, they've added support for x64 and are doing some testing before releasing it (which should be soon).

As far as charging for it...I believe with stand-alone products like that, it's free updates up until the next major version change (which would be 2.0).

As Bebi pointed out, that thread from the OD developer pretty much sums it up for x64 support.

As far as 2.0 upgrades go, I don't know of any information either way.  When the time for 2.0 comes I'm sure there will be more information available about upgrades.
