'Running' indicator shows on Desktop - without Dock

Occasionally a 'Running' indicator, a little white triangle is what I have set it as, appears at the edge of my desktop but without the Dock. I have the Dock set to hide unless I mouse over to that edge of the screen. If I see the 'running' indicator showing all by itself (just the little white triangle, nothing else) and then mouse over the edge of the screen so that the Dock appears, the 'running' indicator just disappears. But it comes back again later. And it always seems to be in the same place (right at the edge of the Desktop, about 1/3 of the way along, from the left, of the beginning of the Dock - though that's just an estimate since I can't see where the beginning is as the Dock is set to be hidden).

Is this a bug?

I run Windowblinds as well, in case that makes a difference.

That's it, "weird"? I was hoping for a more informed response.

from a Troll?

sorry,

bear in mind, even though it says 'stardock support' and support does browse these when they can the forum is basically a users helping users support.

From the Support Page:

Stardock Support Forums (get help from other users - this is the fastest way!)

I've been perusing the forums at Stardock while at work (no access to Wincustomize) and haven't found another post with this issue.

Is the running indicator actually indicating a running program? or is it just there?
If it's an actual valid indication of a running program (not just a ghost), if you drag that progam icon to another position does it follow it? or stay put?

Thanks for the follow-up! Sorry, I figured it was mostly support people responding to specific issues on these forums so I just figured, what the heck?

Yes, I guess it's weird. Sometimes I have not just one but two running indicators, and nothing else, at the top of my screen. The go away as soon as I mouse up to the top of the screen and the Dock appears. I will try and answer your question about whether they follow the change of position of the icon they correspond to, assuming they do correspond to one, next time it happens. I think they do appear to indicate running programs, but sort of "stick out" onto the screen while the Dock is hidden. But they certainly don't indicate ALL my running programs. I might have 3-4 running, corresponding to icons on that Dock, and I only see one little lone white triangle sticking out - or none, because this problem certainly doesn't appear all the time, just now and then.

It doesn't affect the functionality of my computer, it's just irksome. It shouldn't be happening, therefore I want it to stop. (I'm a perfectionist about my setup - as I bet a lot of people who have installed a product like StarDock are.)

I had a picture in the original posting but then I removed it because I realized it had a link to my personal filespace, and I'd prefer not to have that location advertised around the web. If it would be helpful, I could re-post the picture using a public filehost, but I think it's pretty clear what the symptom is.

But that's about all this is clear, at this stage.

upload the pic at photobucket or somewhere then post it here

the pic might jog something from somebody - it should at least catch a devs attention when they wander through

I have discovered that the issue is application specific. It is Opera that is causing this, and I think one other program but more rarely so I don't know which one yet. When I start Opera for the first time, the little white indicator shows up when I DON'T start it from ObjectDock. I will email support as you suggested since they don't seem to be reading these pages.
