This is so frustrating! My machine took a long time to download the Stardock Central, which then involved a 30 min download of WindowBlinds 5 (I thought I was getting WindowsBlinds 6 as well when I purchased the ObjectDesktop today). After installing WindowsBlinds, nothing happens apart from my normal default theme has become Windows 2000. I rebooted and was then told WindowsBlinds doesnt have core.dll. So all I wanted to do was re-install - simple. No. I have to uninstall, and then spend another 30 minutes downloading the install. Retarded. I have no confidence this will even work this time. Nothing seems to work properly, its frustrating. I couldnt log into the website because it asks for a nickname when you have to give it the email address. Now, I cannot even hit return in this window to create paragraphs. Crazy.

your machine consists of what OS? Graphic card/drivers?

did you turn off antivirus and/or other antistuff prior to installing?

sometimes I have more luck (as of late) right clicking the choosing th option for download and archive - then go file > restore archive

not sure why you thought you would get 6 - 5.51 was release just a couple of weeks ago

I log in with a nick not an email - used to have to use an email, but that changed

have seen the core.dll thing before

if you get it installed again and can get WB configuration open (where you choose a skin) - click 'view my system information' on the left and copy/paste to here all that shows up.

Been seeing a couple of posts with really weird dates on the files (like 1969)

First lets say welcome, always nice to have new people in the community. Please don't feel like you have made a bad purchase. Problems sometimes do happen. What's your access for the intermet, Dial up, DSL, cable?

I would suggest contacting Stardock support direct, they should have sent you an email, have that handy.

The forums are not meant to get official Stardock support, just a place for subscribers and visitors to meet and talk about what's going on.
