Can't update my limited edition

When I try to get the second number and give the only serial I have, it says it is already registered to the DIFFERENT email address. Which is the same I'm using.

As addition: Could it be possible to re-send the second number to the email-address the game is claimed to?

I'm quite sure I'm using the right address, but it still says the game is claimed by a different address.

I know it is a stupid question but: Are you the first owner of your copy? Are you sure nobody has already used it?

No. It's a GOOD question since that would definetely explain the trouble I have. But I'm sure I'm the only user of that game.

I'm currently waiting the reply from the support@stardock.com.

How have you got your limited edition?

A few people wind up with serial number problems. It doesn't necessarily mean that its a used copy. When i tried to update i was told that the eamil address was not the same as the one that was registered.

David at support had me fixed up in no time.

True, that why knowing how the person get the copy is helpful to spot when an another e-mail could have been used.
