Travelling between Stars

In regards to travelling between star clusters, do you have to research something? Maybe it is not enabled in the beta version or not, but I have not figured out how to travel between the stars. Any ideas anyone?

Yep , in the research tree you have to research long distance jumps.

I forget the exact name of it...
