Pirates suite install questions

I've just downloaded the Pirates Suite - I have the suite running and it looks good!  Now, Where do I extract the items within the zip file with a gadgets\--subdirectory to?   My problem is how to get the calendar, clock, etc to run.   I'm using Object desktop - windows xp (sp2).

I' also looking for the Icon pack - can't seem to find it in the zip file(s).

Thanks for your help.

Did you install this using the theme manager ? If so the IP should be in Icon Packager.
If not you can rename the ext of the .Theme Manager Suite to .Zip and open it with winzip and you will see the icons...just make a folder and extract to the folder.

Gadgets do not need to go anywhere...just as long as you can find them..if they are gadgets they should run with no problem..just click on them...

If its a weather gadget there is an OCX_set up you need to run ..it will be in the zip .

Thank you both for your advice - Things are working just fine now - almost. I am seeing 'Purple' boxes where icons should be on the logon screen (1920). When I move my pointer over them the images show up just fine. The Icons I've noticed are next to the logon names as well as the 'shutdown' button. Oh well. I'll try the others out. Once again Thanks for your help.

OK, The logon screens should be corrected. The images on logon screens do not show the images, they are displayed as 'purple' or 'maganta' color backrounds. I've attempted to 'edit' the sign on screens but still does not show the images (bitmaps) unless I 'mouseover them'.

How can this be corrected?

Thanks for any ideas I might get to correct this problem.

I don't have the suite so this is just a guess, it sounds like you have edited in LogonStudio editor a splash style logon. If so a splash logon is done in the UIFILE to make it work. Editing overwrites the UIFILE thus making a normal style messed up logon out of it.

but still does not show the images (bitmaps) unless I 'mouseover them'.

If you are talking about the user account panels, for standard logon only see images when click to select account, when mouseover back color and user pic will be more visible, with a splash style you should always see the user pic, then when click, for a password protected account, see password background and buttons, go, hint.

The Icons I've noticed are next to the logon names as well as the 'shutdown' button.

If I am understanding this correct, tells me that it is most likely a splash style logon. Deleted edited ones and reload them from download file.
