Hey everyone hope everyone is doing well!!I had a good time doing the Easter WB again special thanks to PO Smedley and Life is a Game for thier contributions!!Great job guys!
Last time I waited a little long to get started so I thought I would get an earlier start this time!

So here we go this is an open invitation to skinners and artists to help put together a community Windowblind for HALLOWEEN!I think it will be fun and rewarding so come on and lets all do a section and have a good time doing it!This time we are not quite so pushed so we can bounce around a couple ideas!

AV,wb has been sent to you...  

heres what it looks like here...a catless substyle could be done AFTER the main style is complete.

Start menu was tricky so I suggest you add to the one I sent...or you may never get it to line up.Its just called Spooky...you can change the author name to Team Spooky or whatever.

Crap!There already is a Spooky WB...you will have to do a save as...

Dont forget the fonts...emboss and segoe

Should I normalize images filenames?In the past I had some addressing issues. What do you think about the window ?I used start menu a the texture.*do you think the sides and bottom are to thin?Thinking of gargoyle with eyes that light up for min,max,&close buttons.

Normalize file names is fine before you add substyles...just be on the lookout for a couple of images that get named too long sometimes...the images will seem to disappear.

If it happens just rename the image and they will pop back in.(usually logoff related stuff,they show in analyze as flagged longer than 60 characters)

This is your baby now...hehehehe,do what you like.  (my only suggestion is to use the layer styles in the psd for consistancy,not just he texture...but like I said...its your headache,er,project now)

So far, I'm basing my Xion skin on the start menu style, although smaller.

It does have the spider and the web, you'll see what it looks like when I get closer to finishing.

Sorry if I'm taking a while - I am at school during the week and don't get much time to do what I love doing...

Quentin sounds good haven't decied on a wall yet and when I get a few more graphiics I will send them to you for a bootscreen!

SK Originals tahat would be great IR posted the psd's from the start menu if you want them ir go with what feels good along the same color scheme I trust your judgement !If we can work it in I would like to use the start button from page 1 (note the twisted background is only in the .gif not in the .png I will seng it to you!Thank you!!

Hey REDstyler, you can't link to images on your computer, it must be hosted on the web, most here use either Photobucket or Imageshack.

I followed the comments and got the psd IR posted and saw tht thing about the 'twisted' background and that no one had picked up the taskbar so figured I could whip something up for it

Go ahead and keep the skull image. I figured I could send you the actual code lines and images and you could just plug them into the blind once I send 'em to ya.
