Skinning Styles - since Vista release

What is more common nowdays?

There are numerous websites that have run a poll asking if one prefers to use skins that look like Vista or not.

Since the release of Windows Vista, I just wanted to know what type of skin is common nowdays.

What do you prefer? Is it common to use a Vista look alike skin?

I must have posted this at the wrong time, I didn't bother to check who was on the forums at the time. Most of you must have been sleeping. My Bad!

Do you guys prefer Vista Skins or not?

When I used XP I rarely used Vista-like skins.
Now that I am on Vista .  . . . the same holds true.

I pick skins that suit me, Aero just isn't it right now.

I agree with you. The reason I posted this was to see the difference. I can't say that aero is great myself. Nice idea, though.

I replied to a Wallpaper post, saying that I like walls that have feeling. I fell the same way towards skins. They have to look good, so that you won't change it too regularly.

Nice! Not something very common, something I'd keep. Also, I tend to use ladscapes, but with more feeling. Hard to describe. I wouldn't want something too vibrant though. Depends what skin I use.

I don't have a problem with Aero itself, but I used it for so long that when WindowBlinds was ready for Vista there was no looking back.

I am an XP user all the way, and I am not interested in making my desktop look like Vista not in the lest. There are so many other great looking skins to choose from instead if Vista clones. Just my two cents worth.
