Problem with applying skins in WB 5.5

from WinCustomize Forums
Hi,

I've just installed WB 5.5 and while I can apply Classic or Aero skins, I can't apply any other skins -- if I do, it goes back to Classic for some reason.

I took a look at another post which had the same problem, but couldn't find a solution as it seemed like my graphics card was okay.

I have Vista Business. Here is the system info I copied from WB:

I'd install Stardock Central, upgrade to WB 5.51 and then retry.
If it fails, post your new and improved system info again.

Ah, Stardock Central doesn't seem to list Vista as one of its system requirements...I'm not sure if it is Vista compatible. A previous poster had the same problem with WB 5.51 as well, I think.

I believe SDC is Vista compatible - my list of available apps showing in SDC include those that only work on Vista

I use SDC in Vista.  No problems.
