Desktop Contents (Not Show Desktop)

Is there a way to have a dock show the contents of the desktop or another folder instead of just the "Show Desktop" button? I'm using bblean, so I don't have access to that.

Try taking a look at the OB "Creating an ObjectBar" document.

Since the Desktop is just a folder you can link to it as either a fly-out menu, a shortcut which opens as a standard menu or just have it open the explorer window.
