aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

I've got a serious graphics prob.
in game instead of ships i see some dark grids and boxes wich dont look like much.
instead of stars and planets i see some shitty circles filled with nothing.
i have no idea how to post screenshots so i won't.

Sorry, I don't play Metaverse games, so I don't have experience with those errors.
But, yes, 1.4X is good enough.

Sounds like you need a higher speed connection for those large file downloads.

Metaverse lets you track your score online. It provides a fixed, secured set of datafiles (no mods allowed), so the scores actually mean something.

Simply use the 'Metaverse' button in the main menu, create a character (you can have up to three at the same time) and play. You don't have to play the whole game in one session, saving and loading works as normal. Also, when finished, you can choose to submit the score or not. You can even load, play again and resubmit once if you're not happy with the outcome.

Empires are just groups of players. No real advantage being in one, but it can give you one or two more medals to show off and add a bit of flavour to your characters.
