WindowBlinds slowing down

In the past, I have tried installing windowblinds in my computer. From my past experiences, i am not happy about windowblinds because it slows down my computer not only in startup. Does anyone of you experience the same problem as well?

Never noticed or experienced a slowdown here, been using it 3 years.

Nope, no problems here.

This sounds like something that a cracked/pirated version might cause.

I had problems before but found that several Firewall and anti-Virus programs were the culprit.
Had to test each and WB was not slowing down my computer at all.

no problems here either, have u scanned your computer for malware that could be the culprit?

Yes, I do notice a slowdown on windows loading but once windows is loaded, then I don't notice any slowdowns with regards to windowblinds. However I have had Internet Explorer stop responding about 6 times now since I installed the whole Objects Desktop, but I only use the windowblinds part of it right now. Don't know if it's related or not.

My computer has just had windows XP SP2 installed fresh so theres hardly anything else on it but a couple games, so I gather the slowdown in loading windows would point to windowblinds loading up it's stuff.

I have had my system slow down,i uninstalled all of stardock and only reinstalled what i really only use instead of the whole shootin match, now i dont notice any slow down.Dont know if my uninstall or reinstall had any bearing on it,you be the judge. One note on this [i had security software hamper good installations].Reinstalled with all security software shut off completely, not the safest method, but i had no warnings or errors on the reinstall.

Some AV programs will scan files on the fly which will slow painting down - best to exclude the WB directory (all Stardock/OD directories, actually) from scanning within the AV app's configuration settings.
