English version to german

Hello,

I have downloaded the english version (via stardock central). Now I have german languages files from my retail cd version. Because I don't want to install the cd version new I want to change the language for galciv2. So I moved the german files in the data/German folder, Then I have created a entry in the registry because there was no one for language (language --> German under HKEY_Local_Machine/Software/Stardock/Drengin.net/Galciv2) But I doesn't work. The language is english.

Do you can help me? Where is the error?

I believe the key name for language is case sensitive--

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Stardock\Drengin.net\GalCiv2]
"Language"="German"
