System Tray Not Appearing

Hi,

I'm using Object Dock Plus and I would like to have a second dock with just my system tray icons appearing in there. I created a new dock, removed all of the existing icons and then went into dock settings > dock contents and selected the option "display system tray icons along with my icons" and then hit close. Nothing has appeared in the dock. I restarted my PC but it's still empty. I tried doing the same thing with the main dock, but still no system tray icons appear.

Can you help?

Also, while I'm posting, is there a digital clock docklet that works with this version? I tried a couple of old ones (circa 2003) I found through Google but they both crashed Object Dock :/

Make sure the sdmcp.exe is enabled or your systray icons won't show..
enable through Stardock Central (Under tools in SDC you can check off to enable MCP smartstartup. )

If you do not have SDC you can download it directly from this link:

What do you do if what you described still doesn't work?

Are you sure the sdmcp.exe is enabled ?
The link I left might have been confusing...it is not a link to Stardock Central but a link to the sdmcp.exe to directly download to your computer.

sdmcp.exe
WWW Link

I'll bump the post up, maybe someone else has another suggestion...I rarely use the systray in object dock.

My dock is running on the english version of XP Pro SP2. I tried to enable it on both the normal dock and the tabbed one. Nothing on either. I made a new dock with only the system tray option enabled with no other icons. That hasn't worked either. Yes, I do have the MCP running and I have StarDock Central working. Still nothing.So, what am I doing wrong or what am I missing?

Just a tip, if you're not making a new installation but an upgrade.
When I upgraded from a previous version - I didn't get the system tray, no matter what I tried.

To get it to work, I:
* Uninstalled OD 1.9
* Reinstalled previous version
* Uninstalled previous version
* Removed everything in the OD-folder
* Installed OD 1.9

Then, everything worked fine.
