Safari for Windows 3.0 beta

Mary Jo right again!

Apple has just released a beta of Safari version 3.0, for Windows (as well as for OS X) as shown at the WWDC keynote earlier today.

From my experience, it is kind of buggy and systems with less than 1.5gb RAM dont want to run it, every page increases RAM usage a bit, for me it is around 400MB right now.

Of course, when I tried to post this from Safari the text box didnt appear, WC devs have something to work on

I just popped it in myself and its running fine on Windows Vista. I just want to get all the plugins I use for FF to keep the ads of my page (flashblock and adblock) and then make a true comparison. If the numbers that Apple claims are accurate then I will probably switch, I am all about efficiency.

I installed it on Vista, but haven't had too much time to play with it.  Maybe today.

I threw up slightly when I saw it. After using it for a day I want to slap Apple.

It's a pretty decent browser on the Mac, but this version is an abortion.
