Vista Multiplicity Crash & Cursor Disappears

I've been using Multiplicity for over a week now, and noticed a new problem pop up out of nowhere over the weekend. Occasionally when switching between desktops, Multi on the server crashes and renders the server's mouse cursor intermittently invisible. It will show when you however over a resize portion of a window, or other random spots, but not draw consistently. Launching the Mouse control panel, selecting another type of pointer and applying will restore the mouse to normal working order. I can't tell what the cause is since nothing else seems to crash at the same time.
I've tried a similar product (Synergy) and it doesn't crash when changing (just does it on its own sometimes) and the mouse cursors never disappear. I saw in an earlier post there was a fix for running under XP to roll back to an earlier Nvidia driver (I run Nvidia cards) but that won't work for me.
I'm running Vista (Ultimate, latest patches) on the sever, and XP SP2 (latest patches) on the client. Multi didn't crash at all at first, but now doesn't seem to stay up and running for more than 5 mins at at time. Very frustrating and I would love to know if there is a solution since I'd much rather have Multi's capabilities.
