Just out of curiousity, what are the benifits of the Pro version? Besides stand-alone widgets.

Stand-alone is really awesome man

"Gadgets - For users of DesktopX Pro DesktopX widgets can be exported as stand-alone programs (.EXEs) called gadgets that require no additional files or run-times to be installed. Gadgets can be sent to any user of Windows XP or 2000 to be used. No installation required."

So i can for example put one of my widget as gadget for my brothers or (when they will become awesome ) put them in this site desktopgadgets.com

Yep, so in other words, with DesktopX Pro you can turn a widget into an application that can run on a clean install of Windows 2000/XP/Vista whereas when running a widget, you are required to have at least DesktopX Client installed.
