Icon Set Installation fails

Reports missing beta though beta display is disabled

from Stardock Forums
When I try to install the icon sets delivered with Icon packager, it fails with the message

"There was an error installing Icon Set for Icon Packager. The following error occured:

Error: Attempt 3: The beta of the applicationyou are attempting to download is not available.
Result: Installation failed(9)"

There seems to be more text, but I can only see the top 2 pixels of i, the rest is cut off.

The "View Log" Buuton reveals the following log:

Huh? Beta? Which beta? Did I just purchase beta software? If yes I would like to know that before installing it. I have disabled the "PreRelease/Beta" Option in SD Central.

I would suggest emailing support@stardock.com to find a solution. This happens to be a long weekend in the US and may take until Tuesday to get it resolved. Perhaps another user will have some suggestions you can try as the forums are mainly user supported especially during the weekends.

Have you tried switching servers in Stardock Central to see if the helps with the download?

It's not that urgent, though combined with my other download problems (see my other posts) it really pi... me off, as I was planning to use the holidays to completely redo my desktop and now I can't.

Off Topic:

It's a long weekend in Germany, too. It's called "Pfingsten". How do you call it in the US?

yeah i reported this 2 or 3 weeks ago, got some tips on how to fix it, but they didnt work, in fact i ended up haveing to reinstall all sorts of stuff just to get anything to work then lol. So im ignoring it, if we knew what packages they are, and when they are updated we could decide for ourselves, im on limited bandwidth b4 additional charges so im trying to be careful with what i download.
