Help - I can't see any bootskin images in the bootskin section ??

Hello, I'm running IE7, Quero toolbar w/ popups allowed,
when I click on the Bootskins gallery, I do NOT see any pics
of the bootscreens, even when I drill down to the next level
of description & download button - what am I missing ? I'm logged in also.

TIA

^bump^

Seriously, this is a visual medium, & I can't see an image for the bootskins ???

Surely you're not required to dL it just to see it?

or ......... search for the author's pages to find it there.

Would truly appreciate a little tip to be able to use this website
to visualize the bootskins, logons, etc., to use in some projects.

thanks again, whoever can take the time to help ............

try using another browser to see if the problem isn't with ie7 somehow stopping the images from being displayed. Try flock, firefox, opera, avant, etc and let us know how it works. If you can view the images on the site with one of the other browsers you know that you will have to tweak some settings in ie7 to display images. Strange how you're not able to view any images. Is this the only site where that kind of problem happens?

If it's not IE, then do you run a firewall like Zone Alarm?

I shoulda known !

Thanks for the suggestions - just now I used another machine running IE6,
and there those beautiful images are - kind of right under the up-arrow icon !

Now, to figure out who/what is playing policeman in IE7.

I do run Comodo Firewall, but don't see why that would interfere yet,
as nothing's being downloaded.

Probably something in between Quero & Mr. Gates' settings ;>)

Yes, so far this is the only site where this happens -
do you suppose I have to use the User Agent String switching to present myself to your site as IE6 ? in other words - is your site configured to "talk to" IE7's
User Agent String ?

Thanks again for your helps, I'll refresh the post when I figure out the IE7 thingy,
maybe help another frustrated soul ~

note - FFox 2 on the same machine as IE7 is seeing the images
just beautifully !

note again - Quero toolbar / IE7 -

it's the "Block Ads" setting that was blocking the images !

"Block Pop-ups" was not the problem.

There's a provision to exempt sites and allow ads, popups, etc.

Hope this might help someone else .........

now I can go sleep w/ the anticipation of plowing through
those hundreds of boot / logon skins in the morning
