How many places does ObjectDock Pro 1.9 save your theme?!?

I recently upgraded my comp and saved the theme off my old comp and loaded up on my new one. The new computer has different drive letters (the old drive letter is currently an empty SD/flash reader in my Dell monitor if that helps anyone). I updated the links on all but 2 apps on my top floating dock. I did not get a chance to update any of the links on my bottom tabbed dock.

Now when I try to start up ObjectDock (Pro), I get the following message:

"Exception Procesing Message c0000013 Parameters 75b6bf9c 4 75b6bf9c 75b6bf9c"

After pressing Cancel (as well as trying the others) several times, the top floating dock pops up with all but two icons. I then press Cancel for an eternity and I still never get the bottom tabbed bar to appear. The only way to get out of this loop is to CTRL+ALT+Del and stop the ObjectDock process manually, and click Cancel one more time which results in both ObjectDock and the error messages going away.

I have deleted the offending theme in the ...Stardock\ObjectDock\Themes folder
...still loaded custom theme

I have deleted the entire My Documents\Stardock\ObjectDock folder as well as checking above
...still loaded custom theme

I have uninstalled ObjectDock from my computer as well as checking above, restarting the computer, and reloading ObjectDock from SD Central
...still loaded custom theme

I have uninstalled all of Object Desktop along with checking all above!!!
...still loaded custom theme!!!

Is there another copy I am missing? in the system folder maybe? registry anyone?
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

TIA
Mike

MountainMike, I did a complete uninstall before updating to version 1.9....First clear the cache, Tutorial found HERE
Then as you did, deleted the entire My Documents\Stardock\ObjectDock folder, then
uninstall all of OD plus including skins images ect. via SDC. Then reboot, Then use a registry cleaner, also cleaning any broken shorcuts as well.

I use JV16 powertools selecting to clean only safe entries, & lets me clean up the broken shortcuts Then finally ...installing again via SDC

After all that you should truly have a fresh install of OD....its working great for me....just to note.....to be sure you make a copy of Backed up Themes folder found in the My Documents OD folder after you have set up your docks to your liking. And also clear the cache occasionally for all the Stardock apps that you use to keep things running smoothly.

here is the quick version of the clear cache

Go to start > run and then copy this into the command line:

%userprofile%\local settings\application data\stardock

It will open a file folder. Delete the ObjectDock one. Be sure to save before doing all of this.

Cheers

Same kinda trouble here, (which i point on on another thread without answer) but without error message ...

Themes were saved before V1.9 in C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock\Themes and now also (with same name) in E:\Mes Documents\ObjectDock Library\Backed Up Themes ....

In fact i've nothing else in ObjectDock library and i really wonder what's the use of it apart now that it seems to save themes ...

Though i think the right place for themes is C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock\Themes and there should be two different option in ObjectDock:
1) save theme wwhich goes to ==> C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock\Themes
2) backup theme which sould go to E:\Mes Documents\ObjectDock Library\Backed Up Themes

EDIT: i just did an uninstall + clearing ObjectDock+ cache, reboot, then reinstall ObjectDock+ 1.9 and trouble is the same : themes are stored on the two sides mentionned ...

Should be nice to fix it

Seabass you are a life saver!!!!

lol...and then there were 3...

Wow, as if the other two places it stores backups weren't enough.

Worked like a charm. I just deleted the folder. It was a new install so I had nothing to lose.

Thank you again!
