I want my Open Office to have the MS 2007 Look, or atleast MS 2003

I want all the icons also to look like MS office too!

I am a newbie here, so i want to ask you guys a question. I am using XP pro with open office 2.2, i want to change the look & feel of open office 2.2 similar to MS 2007 (with ribbon UI & etc., if it is possible) or atleast have the look & feel of MS 2003.

I want to later save my theme so i don't have to redo it every time. I don't mind if my XP looks the same, i was want to spice up my OOo 2.2,so it is easy for my younger brother who is used to MS office to work on my laptop.

I would appreciate detailed steps (so i don't crash or anything, as i am not a very techie guy) and also suggestion as to what product (Eg: Object desktop or Windows Blinds etc) i should buy here to achieve that.

If it's skinnable - it would be via WindowBlinds.

Check the WB gallery to see if there's anything that fits close to what you're looking for

Download the trial version of WB - see how it looks

per pixel transparencies won't work on downloaded skins using the trial version.

Thanks for the help, but i just wanted to know if the MS 2007 icons will be in OOo as well when we implement the MS 2007 look for OOo? Pls let me know, i am planning to purchase windows blinds.

WindowBlinds will NOT make the OoO have the ribbon interface of the Office suite.  Nor will it affect the interface outside of teh window frames and color

A quick Google search did not reveal a method of doing what you asked.

You can change Icons, Icon Packager might work for you, but you will not be able to affect the Menu of OoO making it look like MS Office 2007.
