No ObjectDock included with Object Desktop?

Can someone explain why ObjectDock would not be included with Object Desktop? Is there some functionality in Object Desktop that does the same job as ObjectDock?

possibly the same reason CursorXp isn't included.

As in click an icon - open a link, program, etc.? DesktopX

ObjectBar has some of the same features as OD (plus many, many more) but does not have the same native eye candy.

i agree with Zubaz in More ObjectBar allow you to use Widgets (build in DX) in it.
