OD Plus question

IIRC, in previous versions of OD Plus, you could place a single dock/tab on the side of the screen and have it open out horizontally. Is that feature still available in the latest version? If so, how is that done?

Also, I am unable to click on, and drag, the regular dock to a different position. It seems like it is locked, but according to the right-click menu it is not locked. Shouldn't I be able to just click and drag it around?

Thanks in advance for your help!

You can still place a specific single tabbed dock on the sides of the screen and have iy open horizontally. But they have to be designed for that. Check out my gallery, www.messiah1.wincustomize.com for some single tabbed docks.

When you create the new dock, delete all but one tab. You may need to adjust the dock a bit by dragging the corners/bottom/top/sides (like a regular window). That should do ya. Oh, and I don't think you can "drag" the regular zoomers around. You can place them top/bottom/left/right and then adjust where they sit on that edge by the Spacing and Alignment slider.

Thanks messiah1, I must have had a dock background that wasn't reconfigurable. I will definitely give that a try when I get home from work! Thanks for the reply!

Actually Messiah...Most of my tabbed docks as well can be used as a single tabbed dock/drawer...it doesn't really have to be specifically designed that way....you just have to make sure that all your Right/Left widths & Top/Bottom Heights are right on so that when you shrink them down to form a single tabbed drawer they don't have a line running down the center of them. (You won't notice any lines on Non Transparent docks though)

Ama02...If you should try to use one and you get a line down the middle for some reason let me know and I can easily fix that...you might find one here or there because I hadn't had anyone requesting something like that when I started doing these...but like I said its easily fixed. Just do the same thing Messiah mentioned about deleting all but one tab and you should be good to go.

hmm...I can't seem to get it right. I deleted all but one tab, then click/drag a corner to resize the dock...but when I try to place it at the edge of the screen, the dock goes back to a vertical orientation. lol! I remember seeing a video that Brad made on how to make the docks into the horizontal configurationn, but can't remember what he did to make them stay. Any ideas?
