Promised betas - object desktop subscribers x64 vista

A couple of months ago I subscribed to object desktop after viewing the vista roadmap published on stardock.com. I'm using vista x64 ultimate edition.

Program                  Promise                                      Status
Windowblinds 5.5 beta - Now for object desktop. | Doesn't work on x64
DesktopX            beta  - Late feb                     | latest version showing is 07/2006
Tweakvista          beta  - mid march                  | nothing in stardock central
Bootskin vista      beta  - mid march                 |  nothing in stardock central

Am I doing something wrong, or overlooking the obvious? Apologies if so. If however I'm right and Stardock are not delivering on their promised roadmap, then frankly I feel mislead.

(I'm not certain if a post like this has been asked before, but there are so many forums and I got bored looking...)

I believe that it was made clear in that article that the roadmap was a very tentative one. I do know that Stardock will not be the first nor last that come across issues with programing for a still new OS. Just look at how long MS took to get Vista out for example.

So patience is needed and keep in mind that the updates are included with your ODNT subscription for the next year.

If you currently have Object Desktop or have let your access expire, now is a great time to renew! And if you don't have Object Desktop, now is time to get it. Betas for these programs will begin showing up in the next few weeks along with the "Summer of Object Desktop" with tons of new updates.
