ObjectDock 1.9 weather doclet for perth australia

I just upgraded to objectdock plus 1.9, and was disappointed to find that the weather doclet doesn't work for Perth in Western Australia.

Previously, I was using the code of ASXX0089 (as detailed here https://forums.stardock.com/?ForumID=176&AID=77098) but this doesn't work anymore, probably because objectdock 1.9 is using AccuWeather.com, where as version 1.5 of objectdock was using www.weather.com.

I have confirmed that other locations work (like the example of Berlin,Germany), but Perth,Australia does not work.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

You could move to Berlin...

Good old lateral thinking...Edward DeBono would be proud...

OK I've booked my tickets to Berlin although this does work out to be a rather expensive solution to fix a problem with $30 worth of software. However, Jafo's solution will have to do until stardock fix the problem, then I'll move back to Australia

Did you read through the other thread....

....before booking your tickets?...

I thought the Australian version worked like this.....

Step 1 - Use your mouse to hover over the weather icon
Step 2 - Go and stick your head out the window, you should see your weather there.

I thought the Australian version worked like this.....

"Strewth, mate...ya think it's evah gunna rain?"

"Dry as a dead dingo's donger, me old china."

"Well, bugger me".

"Fair-dinkum".

"chuck us a tinnie anyhow"

"put ya money on the fridge"

I,ve done the stupidest thing...
I tried to install weather.com instead of the preinstalled accuweather.
And I accidently wrote over the weatherdocklet.dll.
Does anyone know how to get the original Weatherdocklet.dll back. I've looked in the trash and it's not there. Please help me. I want the accuweather-file back because i've learned that it's possible to use it with locations outside of the us. Didn't think so from the start... Thanks in advance/Traget

Edit: Managed to get the file from the exe-file.

Go to http://www.accuweather.com/us-city-list.asp?submit=GO&u=1&partner=accuweather

I went to "International Location", typed in my city, it came up with the title up the top in bold - I just used that in the weather docket and BAM! :D

Copy and paste this information into the docklet locaations: Perth, Australia (Western Australia)

This is a decode of the location name for your area. It should work for you as I have it running here. Considering the snow here your weather looks fantastic.
