Can't be unzipped, double click it to open, it will put icon in ObjectDock library icon folder. On dialog that opens there will be a button to take you to ObjectDock library folder.

That's gotta be the first on I've come across - just tried it.

Don't recall getting a dockzip before.

cavan1,

I tried to open it but the window that pops up says that window cannot open this file... use web to search for programs or use install programs to open... I dunno what to do from there... and is that icon i have in the link right for what i wanna do? all i wanna do is to change an application icon from the original to that one in the ObjectDock? thanks again...

Jeff mentioned something about dockzips in one of his articles...might want to check into that. I can't remember exactly what he said though.

Dockzip files only work with ObjectDock 1.5 and up. Right click on dock, About Objectdock to see which version you have.
ObjectDock 1.9 is now available WWW Link

Worked for me. Do you have a dock folder? Should be in "My Documents"

if it's easier for you to find them, yes.

Group them in folders within the Image library. Even more easy to find.

Basically...for me...I didn't like having the extra folders in "My Documents" which is why I never used the dockzip. If you find someone using that and you don't want to use those extra folders...just click on it...and it will produce the extra folders again. But when you click on it and the folders pop up with the docks you want to use....just highlight them all and send them to the c://Programs/Stardock/ObjectDock/backgrounds folder. But then you have to get rid of those extra folders again...or not. ;)
