i have vista home basic 32-bit.


when i install it, and choose a theme, it just switches to the windows classic theme.

irishking - open wb config, click view my sytem information, copy/paste to here the info

fyi - edit your title to "Windowblind and Vista = No Work" = will draw more attention

when I read the original title/post i thought you were asking a general question (i almost suspected you were trying to run a skin without the program {it happens})

the exact same thing happens to me, then when i close wb and try to open it again it tells me i need to restart.

this kept happening with my 5.5 enhanced version so i unloaded and uninstalled it and downloaded the 5.5 trial version and installed it on vista. same problem. i do have a crappy graphics card, but when i installed WB 5.5 enhanced on my other partition, which is running Windows XP the themes run fine, not a problem.

if anybody knows the problem, could they please help me.
