My 1st WindowBlinds Skin Day 4

The skin is finished so it's bug fixing time!

8:15 am
Today is the last day of my Easter holidays and I managed to complete my skin. Today is the bug fixing day so I ask everyone to please download my skin to test it and report me any bugs they find. You can DOWNLOAD IT HERE

Here are the post from my previous 3 days.
Day 1
Day 2
Day 3

I also need help with two things that I just couldn't figure out how to remove the white border around task pane and the white gaps between progress bar chunks. Any help would be much appreciated. Please se pics below for reference.

There are settings for chunk gap and size in SKS Attributes for these sections.

maybe you could also give us a tutorial on the animations (like the file copying progress shown above), it's one thing I haven't learned how to do yet and your example above looks awesome!

I use the following settings for my progress bar chunk:
chunk gap is 0, chunk size is 1

Also the graphic I use for the progress bar chunk is the same size as the graphics used by the progress bar bkgrnd (horz & vert)

For the animations try this link:

As V already said above, yes you can lose the gap on the progress bar, adjust the margin settings. And if need be, make another graphic for it to suit your needs. Look at some other skins to get the idea.

pretty good for a 4 day skin

The single-pixel white border around the shellstyle panel will go away if you designate a Task Pane image in XP Shell/Task Pane. For some reason, just setting background color(s) leaves that single pixel border white.

The skin has just gone through the moderation and is now available for download.

It includes 3 substyles (bottom taskbar, top taskbar and side taskbar). I have also included in the ZIP the fonts and the wallpaper.

Let the downloading begin WWW Link

Nice for a 1st skin, but what does it have to do with vista ?

You are to be congratulated for such an effort undertaken with a self imposed deadline.

I'm sure you don't realize it but you have also thrown down the "Gauntlet" to all of us who sit on the sidelines. No longer will we be able to say "It's to hard and it takes too much time to skin".

Well done.

You did a great job on the wb and the animations tutorial and for outlining your entire creation process,
I haven't seen that much effort put into documenting the entire process in quite a while, I'm sure others appreciate your hardwork, I know I sure do! Thank you very much for the help you've provided to all of us on this process.
