Space Combat Questions

When i played the demo all i saw was 2 ships firing at each other

as a user can you control the combat?, can you at least see the combat happening? Is the combat like Masters of Orion 3?

You can see the combat happening. By default you'll get a fleet combat screen whenever two fleets meet in open space, or if a planet has an orbital defense manager that allows ships in orbit to act as a fleet. You won't get this if you have a fleet attack a single ship, or vice versa. There are some options to change the conditions of when you see fleet combat.

You cannot control fleet combat. Once you engage it's all up to the numbers, so make sure you design your fleet well and attack on favorable terms.

oh thanks, thats fine, in the next game they should add a combat control like masters of orion 3.
