Windowblinds Prevents Games Connecting to Multiplayer

I bought Windowblinds, but have since had to uninstall it because it was preventing several games from connecting to online games. Both Mechwarrior 4 and Dawn of War will get into the online lobby, but are unable to actually join games.

Is this a known issue? is there a fix? I really like the skinning features of the software, but it totally ruined my gaming for 2 weeks while i worked out what was causing my connection issues.
