Help!! -- Out of Memory error

I have plenty of memory

from GalCiv2 Forums
I see this problem showing up here but no responses?

The problem seems to be with some limit with exe.

I have over 1.5G Ram and 4G of Page. It seems to crash only about 2G committed.

Whats the deal.

Anyone having this problem too?

The only time I have seen it personally is when I have done too much during a single turn.

If I destroy a boatload of ships, then go on the capture a dozen or so planets...

If I go too far the ground textures will go missing in an invasion, and shortly after I will get the Out of Memory error. And from the point of missing textures, I won't be able to save the game, getting the same error if I try.

I have 3GB of ram, by the way, and usually around 2.6GB is in use when it happens.
It seems that a certain amount of free ram is required to successfully save a game, and once you go past that threshold it will fail.

O' yea there bug on upgrade it cost same upgrade then to buy it on blank tile.

If you single click the item from the list then click the buy button, it will be the full cost.
If you select the tile you want to upgrade and double-click the item you are upgrading to, and then select to upgrading tile and click the buy button, it will be at the lower upgrade cost.
