Click hyperlink and browser jumps to current desktop

Hello...
Using SD Virtual Desktops - when i click a hyperlink in one desktop, my browser (that is open in a different desktop) always jumps to the current desktop.
Is there any way to force the browser to remain where it was and simply open the link?
Is this a browser or virtual desktop setting?!
