Logos and Pics in DA

I am having trouble adding my own custom Logos and race pics.
I put logos in:

C:\Documents and Settings\ME\My Documents\My Games\GC2DarkAvatar\Logos

and Pics in:

C:\Documents and Settings\ME\My Documents\My Games\GC2DarkAvatar\Portraits

When I start the game and greate a new race, they do not show up. Has something changed?

They need to go in GC2DarkAvatar\Gfx\Logos and GC2DarkAvatar\Gfx\Portraits.

Should these be in the .png format, and what size should they be? Also, we are talking about the 'my documents' rather than the 'program files', aren't we? As long as I'm here, what can I do with the movies folder, and again, what format and size? Oh, one last thing. What race uses the alien skull and crossbones? The pirates!?

Yes. The base images are 256x256 as I recall, but I believe the game will scale if you use some other size.

Also, we are talking about the 'my documents'

As long as I'm here, what can I do with the movies folder, and again, what format and size?


Beyond the game videos needing to be in bink format, I'm not sure. That will probably need to wait until Cari can update the modding guide for DA.

Thanks for the info guys. I have a few ideas percolating for a minor mod; I'll wait for Cari's new guide to see what I can do with the movies.
