Latest Patch prevents continues in Dark Avatar campaign

I downloaded the latest version and when I tried to continue with the campaign (Something about the Korx. I just retook Dirthir in the last session to send a message or something.) but instead of being able to continue I get an error message in Windows and GalCivII:DA tells me the mission objectives are to destroy everyone and show no other players.

The game doesn't crash, and I haven't tried to actually play through it, but I recognize it was NOT doing what it was supposed to and am now reporting it.

This has been reported by others as well. When I talked to Cari about it this morning, she said she thought she found the cause, so hopefully it will be fixed when the next patch is released.

Any news on this fix? I was really enjoying the DA campaign (I am only a few missions in), and it is disappointing not being able to play more of it
