Friendly Fire

Not really sure if this is a bug or not. I'm watching fleet to fleet combats in the viewer and I keep seeing ships on both sides appear to fire on their own fleet. I can't tell if this a way to illustrate the relative experience levels of the various ships (green crews have problems with target selection and the skill improves with more exposure to combat), or it's a flaw in the combat viewer. I hadn't noticed it before and maybe it's another issue with the .068 patch.
