The Vanishing Thalan Fighters

I was just curious if anyone else had run into this issue and if they knew of a way to fix it. But in my current game the Thalan fighters and heavy fighters are invisible. Seriously they are physically there and can fight battles but they are absoultly invisible the only time I can tell if they're there is if they are in a fleet (I can see that nice little number of ships) or if they are in orbit around a planet. At first I took this as a challenge and just continued to play but then after I destroyed a few of them the game crashed. When I reload the game and destroy them again it crashes again. I intend to start a new game and just not include the Thalan but I do have a score to settle with them so if anyone can help it would be appreciated.

Please go to C:\Program Files\Stardock\Totalgaming\GalCiv2 (or wherever you installed the game at), open the debug.err file you find there in notepad, and copy/paste the contents into a post here. If this is a DA report, you'll find the debug in C:\Program Files\Stardock\Totalgaming\GalCiv2\DarkAvatar instead. This will give us some technical information that can help troubleshoot your problem.

Make sure to grab the debug immediately after experiencing the problem, without starting the game again aftwerwards.

Lots of problems with the templates and styles there. You might try reinstalling, and see if that fixes it.

You may also want to try renaming the folder GC2DarkAvatar in My Documents\My Games to something else, so the game will be sure to look at the default data rather than any customizations you've made.
